EUAGRO project has been select­ed for financing

The State Agri­cul­tur­al Uni­ver­si­ty of Moldo­va will ben­e­fit from a grant award­ed by the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion in the amount of 49,650 EUR for the imple­men­ta­tion of the project EUAGRO

On July 31, 2019 the Exec­u­tive Agency for Edu­ca­tion, Audio­vi­su­al and Cul­ture (EACEA) pub­lished the results of the selec­tion for the Eras­mus+ Pro­gramme, Jean Mon­net Actions (EAC/A03/2018). This year 1315 appli­ca­tions were sub­mit­ted, out of which only 251 were select­ed for fund­ing. The State Agri­cul­tur­al Uni­ver­si­ty of Moldo­va will ben­e­fit from a grant award­ed by the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion in the amount of 49,650 EUR in order to car­ry out the project “EUAGRO: Fos­ter­ing Euro­pean Inte­gra­tion of the Repub­lic of Moldo­va with the spe­cif­ic accent on the agri­cul­ture sec­tor”, hav­ing as coor­di­na­tor Ele­na Sim­ci­uc, Direc­tor of the Cen­ter for Euro­pean Stud­ies “EUroSTUD­IES”, State Agrar­i­an Uni­ver­si­ty of Moldo­va. Jean Mon­net’s actions aim to pro­mote excel­lence in teach­ing and research, in the field of Euro­pean Union stud­ies, world­wide. These actions also aim to pro­mote dia­logue between acad­e­mia and soci­ety, includ­ing local and gov­ern­men­tal deci­sion mak­ers, civ­il ser­vants, civ­il soci­ety actors, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of dif­fer­ent lev­els of edu­ca­tion and media rep­re­sen­ta­tives. Sup­port­ed activ­i­ties gen­er­ate knowl­edge and infor­ma­tion that can sup­port the EU deci­sion-mak­ing process and which can strength­en the EU’s role in a glob­al­ized society.
