Seminars ”Understanding of the main issues of EU policies toward Moldova”

From 1 to 10 June 2021, with­in the frame­work of the project Nr. 610667-PPE‑1–2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT: Fos­ter­ing Euro­pean Inte­gra­tion of the Repub­lic of Moldo­va with the spe­cif­ic accent on the agri­cul­ture sec­tor, State Agrar­i­an Uni­ver­si­ty of Moldo­va held sem­i­nars on the top­ic: ”Under­stand­ing of the main issues of EU poli­cies toward Moldo­va”  in Cahul, Chisin­au, Com­rat, Balti and was attend­ed by more than 130 par­tic­i­pants in online and offline for­mat, but most still par­tic­i­pat­ed in the offline for­mat, which shows how much every­one missed the events that are held offline.

Speak­ers of the sem­i­nars were E. Sim­ci­uc, R. Khacha­tryan, L. Pădureac and N. Zamfir.

Sem­i­nars were orga­nized tak­ing into account the insuf­fi­cient under­stand­ing, infor­ma­tion and sup­port activ­i­ties for inter­est­ed par­tic­i­pants con­cern­ing the EU poli­cies towards Moldo­va with the focus on agri­cul­ture and rur­al devel­op­ment aspects as well.

Objectives:  

  • To fos­ter and strength­en under­stand­ing and aware­ness of uni­ver­si­ty stu­dents, researchers from local and rur­al areas on the Euro­pean Neigh­bor­hood Pol­i­cy and East­ern Part­ner­ship, EU-Moldo­va Asso­ci­a­tion Agree­ment, with the empha­sis on agri­cul­ture and rur­al devel­op­ment poli­cies, and on the Nation­al Devel­op­ment Strat­e­gy “Moldo­va 2030” with nation­al pri­or­i­ties in the field of Envi­ron­men­tal Protection.
  • To inform and raise aware­ness of rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the stu­dents asso­ci­a­tions, youth, young lead­ers, non-gov­ern­men­tal orga­ni­za­tions on region­al and local lev­els on the impor­tance of the Euro­pean Neigh­bor­hood Pol­i­cy and East­ern Part­ner­ship, for the devel­op­ment of the coun­try and to pro­mote their engage­ment in the pol­i­cy dia­logue in their local communities.
  • To dis­cuss and ana­lyze  oppor­tu­ni­ties of Jean Mon­net Action Pro­gramme, EU High­er Edu­ca­tion Pol­i­cy and Research Pol­i­cy, Qual­i­ty Assur­ance and the func­tion­ing of EU Edu­ca­tion Insti­tu­tions / Mobility
